How do I pay you for the raffle tickets?

How do you select a winner?

Throughout the fundraising period we track all raffle entries. Once we have raised our goal we enter all tickets into a program that spins a wheel to select a winner. In the past this has been a live event where you can view the results using a link provided on Cathy Quilts for Charity or Cathy Quilts for Charity's Facebook page. However unless enough people say they want to see it live, it is spun live and then posted EVERYWHERE. If I have your email I will send you a link.

Can I donate in someone elses name?

Certainly. Whether being used to hope for a brighter future for grandchildren, a vote in support for a cause that is meaningful to a loved one, or in memory of someone who has passed, we are happy to receive donations in the name of others. When the fundraiser has completed we pass those names on to the recipient organization (unless requested otherwise) as a show of how many of us are supporting what they do.

How do I receive the quilt if I win?

If you are local to Marin County, CA we can arrange for pickup or drop-off. If not, we are able to ship it to you or the recipient of your choosing. We will ship at no cost to the winner.

What if I wish to gift the quilt?

You are welcome to keep the quilt, gift it to someone in your life, use it in a fundraiser of your own, or donate it back to the cause we are supporting. Options are open, and we facilitate the best we can.

How often do you hold raffles/fundraisers?

Our goal is to raffle at least one quilt annually, but are averaging above that at this time. In 2025 there will be 5. There is an increase need with Federal funds being cut.

Can I donate without buying raffle tickets?

Of course. If you chose to not participate in the raffle, we will provide you a direct link to the organizations donation page.
